Team America

As I've said before, we need to be able to laugh at anything, even scary crap like terrorism. That's why I'm looking forward to Team America, a puppet film by the South Park creators spoofing the war on terra that's now slated for an October release. The ever-reliable Drudge Report quotes a Bush admin official who isn't amused.

Also showing up on Blogdex was this amazing statement from James Broadwater, a failed Mississippi congressional candidate. Mr. Broadwater appeared on Da Ali G Show last week, going door to door with Ali G for votes. In one of the interview segments, Broadwater said that all Jews are going to hell--nice congressional candidates they field down in Mississippi, huh? After citing a Bible passage to defend his hateful views, Broadwater, apparently without a sense of irony, writes of Sacha Baron Cohen, the entertainer who portrays Mr. G, "I hope he will re-think the direction of his life."
