The Humility of Bill O'Reilly

If you watched last night's O'Reilly Factor, you saw Bill read this statement with a straight face:

As we did with the Iraq war, we will provide you with the absolute best election coverage for the next four months because just the facts will be analyzed.

Then the first segment of the show was an old O'Reilly interview with John Edwards in which O'Reilly asked, "Everybody says Bush has done a good job disrupting al Qaeda. Would you do anything differently?" Everybody, huh?

In some ways, I prefer the right-wing pundits who are up front with their bias. At least then it can be kind of humorous, as when Howie Carr refers to Edwards-Kerry as "the gigolo and the ambulance chaser."
